Blossoms in Bloom - Happy Birthday - Antoinette Bay

For today’s card I used the beautiful Blossoms in Bloom Bundle by Stampin’ Up!.

The first step is to run the layer of Highland Heather Cardstock through your die machine with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I distressed the edges and curled the corners (both optional). Adhere this to the base card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (embossed images adhere best, in my opinion, with Liquid Glue).

Secondly, use Sponge Daubers to color the flowers and then spritz with a little bit of water and stamp onto the Shimmery White Cardstock and then use the Heat Tool to dry it quickly. Use the Sahara Sand Stampin’ Write Marker to add a little splatter to the card. You will want to do the stamping method twice so that the second piece will be available for you to run the floral dies through your die cut machine. Add Dimensionals and place on card.

Run the second piece of the floral stamped image through the die cut machine using two of the more hollow floral die images on top of the stamped flowers – you will get kind of a tie-dye look on each flower. The floral dies will need to be run through 4 times so that you get 8 flowers – 7 for the top of card and 1 for the inside of the card. Use Mini Dimensionals to place on top of the flowers. Add Woven Thread Sequins and a sentiment.

Lastly, adhere the piece of Highland Heather Cardstock to the Whisper White Cardstock for the inside of the card. I distressed the edges, but once again, this is optional. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to add the remaining flower to the card.
