Today I am sharing another Christening Keepsake Card for baby Michael Edward. My customer requested this one so that she can insert a check as a gift for the baby. (You can find the Keepsake Card that was created for the Godmother to give the baby with a Cross enclosed here.)
I once again used the “retired” Hold on to Hope stamp set and Cross of Hope dies to create this card. The DSP, Ribbon and Silver Foil are also retired. Sometimes when creating custom orders it is necessary to reach for retired goodies and bring them back to life for a special project.
The rotary labeler that I used for the customization of the name is a retired Stampin’ Up! item from years ago that has come in very useful over the years. So glad I kept that too.
Here you can see a few more details. You will notice the small pocket on the top-right photo where the check or cash can be inserted.
I created an envelope using the “retired” Envelope Punch Board to fit a 4-1/2″ x 6″ card so that it allows room for the bulk of the card.
Here you can watch a short video featuring the card.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post.
