Happy Sunday and Happy Labor Day Weekend (in the U.S.)!!!!! Today I am using the Fancy Phrases Stamp Set and the Stitched Lace Dies as the focal points of this card.
I started with the Stitched Lace Die and Sahara Sand Cardstock and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I then took that same piece and ran it through again with the largest and a smaller Stitched Rectangle Die to create the stitching around the edge and the open space in the center. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue with a Stampin’ Sponge and Silicone Craft Mat to glue the lace piece. Take another piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock and run it through the die machine using two of the smaller Stitched Rectangle Dies to create a frame. Adhere the framed piece to the lace piece. Then layer on the two small strips of Sahara Sand and Whisper White and wrap Linen Thread 2 to 3 times around the whole piece. Add Dimensionals around the whole back of that piece.
I recently purchased the Sponge Brayers and have been looking forward to using it. Today I pulled the Pretty Peacock Ink Pad and created an ombre background. Take the Fancy Phrases Stamp Set and Versamark along with the White Emboss Powder to create the floral image with a Heat Tool. I stamped the sentiment with the Basic Black and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Markers. In these photos I just cut the sentiment straight, however on my “live” I used a smaller Stitched Rectangle Die to cut out the sentiment.
Next, adhere the brayered piece to the center of the Whisper White card base. Add the lace piece on top of that and then add the sentiment and the Linen Thread/Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle to the sentiment. Add the Woven Thread Sequins to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
For the inside, adhere the Sahara Sand piece and then on the Whisper White piece stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink and the flower in Memento Black and adhere.
And don’t forget to make your envelope pretty too!!!!!!
