While perusing last year’s 30th Anniversary Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, I came across a card on page 18. Since the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and Flourish Thinlits are retiring on June 2nd, I wanted to get one more card done using them.
I improvised with the Subtles 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and used the Flourish Thinlits instead of ribbon behind the DSP.
I stamped the flowers with the beautiful ink pad colors (see product list below) on Whisper White Cardstock and then fussy cut the flowers – starting with the entire flower, then moved on to the inner flower and then the smallest flower. The floral stamp is cleaned with the Simply Shammy in between each re-inking of the flower.
The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizazz ink pad and the background stamp and the sentiment are inked with Coastal Cabana ink pad.
The insert is also stamped with the Coastal Cabana ink pad as well as the envelope (not shown).
Coastal Cabana Cardstock – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
Blushing Bride Cardstock – 3″ x 6″ (for scallops – 2)
Whisper White Cardstock – 1 full sheet for flowers, sentiment and insert
Subtles 6×6 Designer Series Paper – 2″ x 4-1/4″

I hope this card brightens your day and inspires you!
