Sending Lots of Happy – Pretty Perennials

Today I am sharing the card I created on last night’s Facebook Live which features the Pretty Perennials stamp set and dies from the Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog.   While I was perusing the “Stampin’ Through the Catalog” Instagram page, I came across a card that was created back in 2018 with similar DSP and stamp set that are now retired so I gave it a fresh look using current products, but the same color palette.

The polka dot DSP is cut slightly smaller than the base so that just a little bit of the Basic Black Cardstock shows on the front of the card.   I then took the strips of colored Cardstocks and stamped each color with a different image from the stamp set with the same color ink and then adhered the strips to a piece of Basic White Cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Take this piece and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Stitched Be Mine Dies.  Adhere to the base.

Each of the images used on the strips are also stamped separately one time for each image on cardstock so that they can be die-cut and added to the heart with Dimensionals.   Then take the Basic Black Cardstock, Versamark, White Emboss Powder and the sentiments and heat them and fussy cut them out.  Add Dimensionals and Sequins.

Be sure to add additional detail to the inside of your card along with the envelope for a special touch.
