For today’s card, I took a pretty basic layout and jazzed it up a bit with ribbon, dies and a punch! You will find the measurements and product list below.
The Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder was used with Blushing Bride Cardstock and adhered to the Poppy Parade Cardstock base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I took a floral design from the Flowers for Every Season 6 x 6 DSP and cut 3 pieces. These were adhered to a piece of Poppy Parade Cardstock.
Prior to adhering this layer to the card, a piece of gingham ribbon is wrapped around the card and then this piece is adhered to the base of the card with Dimensionals. Take another piece of gingham ribbon for the bow, but before tying, throw a couple of pieces of the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in the center and then tie your bow. The take a piece of Linen Thread and wrap it around the bow to create an a bow on top.
The sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set is stamped in Early Espresso Ink and die cut using a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. It is adhered with Dimensionals. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Take Your Pick Tool, add the Woven Threads Sequins.
I jazzed this card up by adding a layer Blushing Bride Cardstock to the inside of the card and then topping it off with a piece of the DSP on top of a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and added a Daisy along with a piece of floral trim from the Sunflower Dies.
This was a fun card to make!!!! I don’t often lean towards certain colors so the color palette in the Designer Series Paper helped me to get out of my comfort zone of more neutral colors. The ribbon just ties them both together so nicely.
