Happy Saturday. Yesterday I created a fun-fold card using the Good Morning Magnolia and Magnolia Blooms stamp sets. It all came together very quickly and came out pretty stunning – but you really can’t go wrong with this stamp set.
For the base, I cut a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 6″ and then scored the long side at 1-3/4″. I punched a hole on the scoreline in the center and to the right of the base and then slipped the ribbon through (you can see how I did this in my “FB Live” video on 4/10/20). The Magnolia Lane DSP is cut to 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and placed on top of a piece of 1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ Petal Pink Cardstock. Then place on top of the folded part of the Whisper White Cardstock.
The top panels were created with the Rectangle Stitched Dies in Petal Pink and Whisper White Cardstocks. The largest flower out of the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set was inked in Memento Black and then colored with Stampin’ Blends in Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Soft Suede and Mango Melody. I decided that I wanted to add a little dimension to the front panel so I stamped the flower again on scrap and then cut it out and added dimensionals to the back of the cut flower and then added it to the front panel. For additional depth to the card I splattered some Wink of Stella (I used gold, however it is now retired), The last touch for the front panel is the addition of the Champagne Rhinestones that I just love.
For the inside of the card, I used the following Cardstock and measurements – Basic Black – 3-1/2″ x 4″, Petal Pink – 3-3/8″ x 3/7/8″, and Whisper White 3-1/4″ x 3-3/8″. I stamped the flower from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set onto the corner of the white piece and colored with Blends and did the same for the envelope (not shown).
Below you can see the front of the card and the inside.

I hope this card brightens your day.
