Today’s post is one that I copied from a Stampin’ Up! catalog design. I was drawn to the combination of colors as well as the two techniques used on it which are “masking” which is used to create the flowers and the leaves and the other technique “stamping-off” to create the lighter flowers on the top and bottom.
Healing Hugs – Card for a Friend
Another reason I was drawn to create this card was for the sentiment. Right now one of my “Downline” as well as my friend, is going through a difficult time with a member of her family and I know she needs prayers right now. I will be sending her this card so she knows I am thinking of her and her family.
One thing I always like to do with my cards is stamp the insert as well as the envelope. I feel that once the card reaches it’s recipient, the immediate reaction to this particular piece of mail is that they will open it first and it won’t matter what other mail is waiting for them, this one has made them smile even if it is for a something that may be a little difficult in their life at the moment.
Tomorrow I will be hosting a facebook live, 4/7/19 at 8:00pm EST on my group page: www.facebook.com/groups/thepaperpapillon. I hope you will join my group to see exactly how this card is created.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
XOXO
