Today I am sharing a card I created on last night’s facebook live (8/9/20). I am featuring the Jar of Flowers stamp set and Jar Punch for this card. You will find the measurements and product list below.
For the flowers, I first inked them up in Smokey Slate Ink Pad and then in Versamark. I wanted a little bit of contrast between the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and the stamped image so that I could see where I was watercoloring so adding the darker ink first helped define the flowers a bit more.
The ink colors were applied once, then dried with the Heat Tool, then reapplied to darken up some areas. The flowers were “fussy cut”. The jar is watercolored and the stems added and then punched with the Jar Punch. The tag sentiment comes from the Rooted in Nature stamp set and the tag die is from the Mini Curvy Box Dies. The ribbon is colored with the Melon Mambo Blend (Dark). The Vellum Square Dollie is cut in half and then I cut some edges off to make it round instead of square. Artistry Blooms Sequins were added.
The inside is dressed with a piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock and the Brights 6 x 6 DSP is added along with Linen Thread.
