Today I am sharing another card creation using the beautiful Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP). The paper is the star of the show on this card. I used the bird cage as the background layer. The flowers and the bird were cut from sheets of paper within this DSP pack. Just gorgeous color and designs through and through.
The inspiration for this card came from a card I had seen done by Chloe Evans, however, I changed the color scheme and patterns of paper as well as the sentiment. When I see a card I love I naturally want to make it exactly, but this is where the challenge comes to change things up and be creative. Other demonstrators inspire me greatly.
For me, a card is never complete until the insert is decorated with the DSP or a stamp from the set I used. In this case I simply took a scrap strip of DSP and cut a smaller flower out of the paper to create an extra special touch.
This DSP is available for purchase and on the Stampin’ Up! “Last Chance” Product List while supplies last. If you would like to shop in my online store you can click the “Shop Now” tab above.
