On my Facebook Live today I created this card using the Painted Poppies stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Following are the details on how to make this card. You will also find the measurements and product list below.
I started this card by cutting 6 strips of Basic Black Cardstock and adding them to the center of the Whisper White Cardstock – each strip is 1/4″ and they are spaced at 1/4″ apart. I then colored the Whisper White Crinkle Ribbon with the Flirty Flamingo Dark Blend so that it has time to dry before placing on the card.
I took a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and spritzed it generously with water. I then took Water Painters and painted first with the Flirty Flamingo, then Bermuda Bay and lastly Highland Heather Ink Refills. It is a good idea to use your Heat Tool to dry it completely. Run the watercolored piece and the Whisper White Cardstock layer through the die cut machine with the Stitched Rectangle Die.
The next step is to take the stamp set and ink it up with Versamark and then spread Black Emboss Powder and use the Heat Tool to emboss. Do the same for the sentiment on Basic Black Cardstock with White Emboss Powder. Wrap the Tulle Ribbon around the watercolored piece and add the other two pieces as well.
To complete the card I embossed the inside as well.
