I love all of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the Annual Catalog and have multiples of each, but for some reason I only have one pack of the Peaceful Moments DSP – what?????
After creating this layout on last night’s Facebook Live, I don’t know why I have not used it more and why I don’t have more than one pack. Well my order is going in today before it retires.
This DSP pattern works out perfectly as I am going to use my daughter’s college graduation photo shoot pictures in this layout. Her graduation gown is poppy and black. The photos were taken a year ago and I still have not made my selections. This layout will force me to pick them out now – it was too difficult at the time because all of the photos came out great!!!!!
I started off selecting the floral pattern with the poppies DSP and then put Rich Razzleberry Cardstock behind it. Then for additional flair I added the striped pieces of DSP and pool die cut pieces of the scallop trim from the Painted Labels Dies behind the striped piece (I cut 5 pieces of the scallop trim for each striped piece and used Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to adhere them side-by-side).
Photo mats were cut in Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party Cardstocks. This layout really took off when I started layering the flowers and leaves to each page and then added the sentiments which were heat embossed and fussy cut. I used the Basic Black Stampin Write Marker to add speckles to the background and then gave it a little added bling with the Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
This is definitely one of my very favorite layouts.
