Today I am sharing card #1 of a three card set. I will be creating the other two cards on my next Facebook Live on Monday, 4/5/21 at 7:00pm EST. The bundle used is Posted for You.
I took a piece of Basic Black Cardstock and used Versamark with Clear Emboss Powder for the layer on top of the base of the card. The sentiment is also stamped with Versamark with Silver Emboss Powder. Punch out three postage stamps and add to base of card with Black Dimensionals. Center them on the card.
The flowers are stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive Dark/ Light Blends. The flowers are “fussy cut”. They are added to the top of the postage stamps with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Ink the “Special Delivery” stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink and punch with a 1-1/4″ circle punch (retired) or a circle from the Layering Circles Dies.
Add some ribbon (in this case I used the retired Silver Thread) and then add the sentiment with Black Dimensionals. Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Be sure to add an image and/or sentiment to the inside of the card and the envelope.
You can head over to my Facebook Group – www.facebook.com/groups/thepaperpapillon (video dated 4/2/21) to see how this card was created.
I hope you have been inspired today!
