Happy Father’s Day, everyone! I hope you are out and about enjoying the day.
Today I am sharing the cards I created on Friday’s Facebook Live as part of a Make-n-Take packet. These cards feature the Prized Peony Stamp Set and Dies (you can get this Bundle for FREE by purchasing the Starter Kit in June).
If you would like to earn this 3 card kit for free join my newsletter here https://bit.ly/2VFmskS to get the details and join my facebook group to watch the video on how these cards were created: www.facebook.com/groups/thepaperpapillon
For the first card I used Versamark and Clear Emboss Powder to highlight the stamped Peony image and for the sentiment White Emboss Powder was used. The Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was colored with the Dark Petal Pink Blend and to finish the card off I added an Elegant Faceted Gem.
For the next card I combined the stamped floral image and the die cut flower petals. I first stamped the flower in Tuxedo Black Memento and used the Rich Razzleberry/Old Olive/Mossy Meadow Blends to color the stem, leaves and bud. I then pieced together the Peony using Rich Razzleberry Cardstock and Ink as well as a Sponge Dauber to accent the edges (the technique for this is show in the Facebook Live dated 6/19/20). The background flower was stamped in Seaside Spray Ink and the sentiment is embossed. The embellishments used are the Elegant Faceted Gems and Polka Tulle Ribbon.
Lastly, and my favorite is this beautiful die cut Peony creation. The die cuts are cut in Petal Pink Cardstock and Very Vanilla Cardstock and both are sponged in Petal Pink Ink. The leaves are cut from Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Cardstock and then inked with a Sponge Dauber in Old Olive Ink. The woodgrain background is from the In Good Taste DSP collection and the sentiment is embossed. I tied the card off with Scalloped Lace Trim and Linen Thread as well as several Elegant Faceted Gems.

I hope these cards brighten your day and inspires you!
