The following card was created on last night’s “Facebook Live”. I will be making multiples of this card which used the To a Wild Rose stamp set and the sentiment from the Inspiring Iris stamp set “Sending hugs, prayers and lots of love”. These days that is exactly how I feel as I am sure you are too.
To create this card I used a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base and a then a second layer where the leaf was stamped in Memento Black ink. A piece a Basic Black Cardstock was cut on an angle and then run through a die cut machine with the Scripty Embossing Folder. The flower and leaves were stamped in Memento Black ink and then with Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green ink pads. The images were die-cut with the Wild Rose Dies. The sentiment was embossed with Versamark and White Embossing Powder. I cut the sentiment so that part of it is on the front of the card and the other on the inside of the card. Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added to finish the card off.
For the inside of the card, the leaf is stamped on the background and then the flower and leaves are stamped using the “masking technique” which is demonstrated in the “FB Live” dated 4/3/20 (you can find the link below).
The measurements for these pieces are as follows:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored on the long side at 5-1/2″ / 4″ x 5-1/4″ for top layer / 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ for insert / scraps for flowers and leaves
Basic Black Cardstock – 4″ x 4″ for top layer / 4″ x 5-1/4″ for insert / scraps for sentiment

I hope this card brightens your day.
