Sweet as a Peach – Birthday Card

January 4, 2022 · 26 Comments

Hi everyone.  I am sharing the card I created on tonight’s Facebook Live (see below how you can be entered into the drawing to win this card).  For this card I used the  Sweet as a Peach stamp set along with the coordinating dies.    I also used the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzaz Ink and then used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Shaded Spruce Ink to highlight the leaves.  The same technique was used on the flowers using the Pale Papaya Ink and then highlighting with Cajun Craze Ink.

The sentiments were stamped in Versamark and White Emboss Powder and dried with the Heat Tool. The Pale Papaya Woven Ribbon is cut down the middle and then frayed, looped and knotted through the tag.

The inside is layered with Pale Papaya and Basic White Cardstock along with strips from the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper.

To be entered into a drawing to earn this card for free, LEAVE A COMMENT HERE ON MY BLOG AND YOU WIL BE ENTERED INTO THE DRAWING ON MY NEXT FACEBOOK LIVE – Thursday, 1/6/22 (I will go live on my Facebook group page here – www.facebook.com/groups/thepaperpapillon – I will also post the drawing video here on my blog).

Here you can see another sample using the Polished Pink Ink and a different pattern from the Expressions in Ink paper pack.

You can view tonight’s Facebook Live in its original form below (1/4/22).

I hope you enjoyed today’s post.
