Graceful Garden
It’s time for my second post using the “Graceful Garden” Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! This set is gorgeous. It would be ideal to use for wedding invitations and I may try that soon, but for today I am sharing a card I created using the smaller flower image and the leaves as background.
Using these two stamps from the set allowed me to create what I would consider DSP (Designer Series Paper). I used black Staz-On to stamp the images (reminder: Staz-On for watercoloring and Memento for Stampin Blends). The flowers and leaves are watercolor using these stamp pads: Powder Pink and Garden Green. I used the large flower image as my focal point – stamping the image and then watercoloring. The flower is stamped a second time on watercolor paper and colored in Powder Pink ink and then fussy cut and raised on the card with dimensionals. Ribbon and pearls were added to give the card an elegant feel. Perfect to give as a wedding, birthday, or any occasion card.
To add a personal touch to the card, I stamped the inside with the small flower and the envelope with the larger flower.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card.
