For today’s card I am sharing another envelope style card. I love the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper in the past couple of weeks and have been using it for a lot of projects. On last night’s “FB Live” I paired it with the Detailed Bands dies. The dies are so delicate and beautiful.
Another item I have been loving with this DSP is the Champagne Rhinestones that are in the current January-June catalog. I’ve been using them with the Magnolia Lane DSP as well as the Parisian DSP. The Organdy ribbon really makes this card pop.
I kept the insert simple on this card with a little strip of Mossy Meadow Cardstock and leftover DSP. I used Linen Thread to tie a bow around the Organdy ribbon and tie in the color of the Crumb Cake Cardstock used on the Belly Band.
The belly band is one that does not slide up/down since the card is a pull-out, however I like the way the belly band looks here.

MEASUREMENTS
Magnolia Lane DSP: For the envelope – 6-1/2” x 10-1/2” – score the long side at 3-1/8” and 7-3/8” then turn to the short side and score at 1” – cut off the rectangular pieces at the bottom and then miter the edges in (you can see this done in my “FB Live” video – link below). For the striped belly band- 1-3/4″ x 10″ / Scraps to cut out 3 flowers
Petal Pink Cardstock: 4″ x 5″ for the front panel / 4″ x 5-1/2″ for the insert
Whisper White Cardstock: 3-3/4” x 5-1/4” / Scraps for Detailed Bands die cut
Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 4″ x 5″ for front panel / 3/4″ x 3-3/4″ for insert
Crumb Cake Cardstock: 1-1/2″ x 10″
