I had the pleasure of attending the Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary OnStage event in Orlando this month. I have been a Demonstrator for nearly 10 years and this was the first event (OnStage/Convention) I have ever attended and I LOVED it!!! It was three days of fun and excitement and meeting other Demonstrators from all over the world. I had the pleasure of meeting some of the Demonstrators whose blogs I follow – we said hello and chatted for a minute as well as grabbed a few photos. In my world – these beautiful ladies are famous and I was a little star struck to say the least!
Also, as part of the event, my Upline, Erica hosted a private Team dinner. It was the first time I got to meet Erica since joining her team and I can say that I am so happy to have met this wonderful, hard-working, uplifting woman. She is a true leader and an inspiration to her Team. I’ve learned a great deal from Erica in the past year (I was a demo for 8.5 years on another team, prior to moving over to Erica’s team). At the Team dinner event we gave each other small gifts that were of course, hand crafted. There was real Team spirit in the room and a lot of getting to know each other as I was not the only first-timer there. This group of Demonstrators are all beautiful people, inside and out! In the next few days I will be sharing all of the gifts I received, but for now I will share the gift that I gave to everyone in this photo below.
It is a Pillow Box filled with chocolate and caramels. I created the flowers using Berry Burst and Tranquil Tide ink on Whisper White Cardstock. A sponge dauber was used to add a little depth to the color right in the center of each flower. The stamped leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green ink. The stamp set is the beautiful “First Frost” and the coordinating Framelit set is “Frosted Bouquet” which was used to create the baby’s breathe in whisper white and tranquil tide and used a leaf image in the set to cut out the leaves using vellum. I created a handle on the pillow box by running it through the “Big Shot” with a “Layering Ovals” framelit set.
I hope you enjoy this project.
P.S. – if you have ever thought of joining Stampin’ Up! as a Hobby Demonstrator or a Business Demonstrator – feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss you joining my team of “Papillon Stampers” or click on the “Join Now” tab above.
