Today I am sharing a card I created on last night’s Facebook Live using the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set and some of the current In-Colors. I just love the Poppy Parade and Just Jade combination of color.
I first stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight Ink so that I had a good idea of where to place the flowers. I then stamped the largest tulip first and then the smaller tulips and then added the stems and leaves. Stamping the largest image helped to determine spacing better than stamping the stems first (I learned from my mistake).
I also stamped the flowers separately and added a little dimension. The Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon was wrapped around the Whisper White Cardstock first and then adhered to the Just Jade Cardstock. The twine was added. The DSP is placed to the left of the Poppy Parade Cardstock and then the floral piece is added with Dimensionals. The frosted gems from the Elegant Faceted Gems embellishments finished off the front of the card.
For the inside of the card, there is first a layer of Just Jade Cardstock and then the tulip/stem/leaves are stamped on Whisper White Cardstock and then a small strip of DSP is added along with the twine.
Decorating the inside of the card and the envelope just makes it that much more special when the card is given to the recipient.
