While I was perusing the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog I came across a sample card on page 39 and decided to try it with a new In Color called Polished Pink.
I paired the Polished Pink Ink with the Coastal Cabana Ink. To add a little definition to the flowers, I colored them with a Melon Mambo Watercolor Pencil and the Bermuda Bay Watercolor Pencil to the stems and leaves. As a Demonstrator we have access to a resource library for every sample in the catalog and for this card it described using Watercolor Pencils to highlight the flowers and leaves.
I added the new In Color Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon to the card along with some “retired” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and wrapped them together with some White Baker’s Twine. The sentiment is stamped with Polished Pink and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Markers and then put through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Tasteful Labels Dies. The flowers are carried over to the inside of the card.
The Opal Rounds embellishment are added and the envelope is stamped to complete the card.
I hope you have been inspired today!
