Today I am bringing you another card created with the To a Wild Rose stamp set. On tonight’s Facebook Live, I created this card using a masking technique and CASE‘d the catalog on page 141 (CASE = Copy And Share Everything)
This is a very clean and simple card to create with the measurements as follows:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock = 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored on the long side at 5-1/2″ – 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece – scraps for the leaves and flower / Basic Black Cardstock = scraps for sentiment.
To create the card, the floral and leaf images were stamped and die cut on a piece of scrap paper and then used as a mask for the first layer of the card. Then the images were stamped on the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece and then one of the leaf images were stamped with Old Olive ink. Dimensionals were added to the back and placed on the Whisper White base.
Then the flower image was stamped with Memento Black ink and with Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry inks. Two more leaves were stamped as well and die cut. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink with White Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool. It is cut out with the Stitched Shapes Die and then the leaves were adhered to the back as well as Dimensionals. The floral and leaf images were also stamped on the inside of the card.

I hope this card brightens your day.
