I don’t often make masculine cards, but I gave it a try on my Facebook Live this past Sunday. I used the Whiskey Business stamp set as the highlight of this card. It’s one of my favorites from the Annual Catalog.
I first took the Cinnamon Cider Cardstock and ran a layer through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Old World Paper 3d Embossing Folder. The speckles are created by taking a Black Stampin Write Marker and flicking it onto the cardstock (you can see this done in the video).
The bottle and glass are embossed with Silver Emboss Powder onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. They are colored with a Water Painter along with the Cinnamon Cider, Daffodil Delight and Seaside Spray Ink Refills (in the video I used Blender Pens). The sentiment is created with Basic Black Cardstock and White Emboss Powder.
The design is carried over to the inside of the card as well. The Frosted Epoxy Droplets were added to bring some definition to the look of the ice cubes in the glass. The Bumble Bee Ribbon and lemon peel are added as well.
No card is complete without the envelope being stamped as well.
