Today’s post is a card that I saw in the Stampin’ Success online newsletter that I receive weekly as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I re-created the card and I just love the combination of colors. Those flowers really POP!!!!
This is the original that I saw in Stampin’ Success – I do not know who created it so I cannot provide them with credit for the fun design.
The sentiment was stamped with So Saffron Ink 15 times on So Saffron Cardstock and then cut with an oval from the Layering Ovals Dies. The ovals are placed randomly all over the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then cleaned up with the Paper Trimmer around the edges.
The flower is stamped in Black StazOn Ink and then watercolored with Water Painters and fussy cut. Add Dimensionals to the back and to the card. Add the ribbon, enamel dots and the sentiment.
I kept the inside this time fairly simple since there is no DSP (Designer Series Paper) anywhere on this card. I simply stamped the floral image and stamped off so that the image is slightly faded and then added the sentiment.
The floral stamped image is carried over to the envelope so that the recipient is WOWed when they receive a beautiful card in the mail.
You can view the video on how to make this card over on my facebook group page by joining: www.facebook.com/groups/thepaperpapillon (video dated 7/31/20).
